Alan Varghese, an 23-year-old from Vallamkulam East, Thiruvalla, has been battling Thalassemia Major since birth. This severe genetic disorder prevents his body from producing enough healthy red blood cells, making frequent blood transfusions his only way to survive. His parents, Wilson Varghese and Sunu Mary Varghese, have done everything possible to ensure he gets the necessary treatment at Believers Hospital, Thiruvalla, but the journey has been physically, emotionally, and financially draining. As Alan grows older, the complications of his condition worsen. His current hospital bill stands at ₹60,000, an amount his family is struggling to arrange. Despite his challenges, Alan remains hopeful, dreaming of a future where he can live without constant hospital visits.
